Favorite Nourishing Drinks

Looking for some nourishing drinks recipes? This post is for you!

My journey with pro- metabolic eating is one that has truly changed how I view health and wellness. If you are looking fro more information about pro metabolic eating start here. I share my personal story and changes I’ve seen within my own body and that is what has inspired this post.

I have always been very conscious about my water intake. One thing I have learned is that it is easy to flush out electrolytes, minerals, and other key elements that make our body’s function optimally by drinking only water all day long.

Simply adding high quality salt to your water will make a difference.

Adrenal Cocktail

I love these! Especially being pregnant!! I rarely experience the mid morning crash or afternoon slump. I’ve experienced such positive response with these that I will always have the ingredients on hand. They maybe my absolute favorite nourishing drinks on this list and likely the most impactful.

  • 4 oz Organic Orange Juice (Whole Food Vitamin C)
  • 4 oz of coconut water (Potassium) or 1/4 tsp of Cream of Tartar
  • 1/4 tsp of Redmond Real Salt (Sodium)
  • 1 tsp of Magnesium Bicarbonate
nourishing drinks

You can always substitute Lemon or Lime as your whole food vitamin C. Really depends on your preference. YOU can also substitute aloe juice for coconut water if you are not a fan of coconut. The ratios would be the same.

Noelle Kovary’s Yolky Drink

Noelle Kovary is one to follow if you are wanting to glean information and knowledge about supporting our bodies as woman. This is her recipe and creation so all the credit to her.

I made a few tweaks to the original recipe based on what I have on hand, what I like, but all suggestions and substitutions are from Noelle herself.

  • 1 Raw Egg Yolk
  • 1 Tbs Maple Syrup
  • Splash of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cup Raw Milk
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • 1 TBS Collagen

First you whip the egg yolk with maple syrup until frothy. I use my battery powered frother for this. Add in Vanilla, Raw Milk, and Cinnamon, mix with frother then slowly dump in collagen.

Fallon’s Bone Broth Hot Chocolate

This is an ode to Fallon’s Bone Broth Hot Chocolate. I especially love this in the winter months. It is so nourishing and yummy.

  • 1/2 cup Bone broth (can be store bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 to 1 cup Raw Milk can use water but I prefer milk it makes it a little more creamy.
  • 2 TBS Maple Syrup
  • 2 TBS Cacao powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Dash of Salt
  • 1 TBS of Collagen

Combine all ingredients on the stove top and whisk together until warm. I love to top with homemade marshmallows. Fallon’s Meal Plans has a great recipe.

It should come as no surprise that I no longer measure out any ingredients for any of these nourishing drinks simply because I have made them so often. I don’t need to be dirtying any extra dishes lol

My favorite collagen is from Perfect Supplements. I always buy three at a time to save 20%. This is my affiliate link and if you choose to buy anything I do receive a small commission by you just using the link. I’m quite new to the whole affiliate thing but I do truly love this product and use it every.single.day.

I’d love to know if you try any of these recipes and your thoughts! I always say to try them more than one time as the ingredients and tastes maybe unfamiliar to you but you may find that they grow on you. Hey maybe you’ll find yourself craving them throughout your day like I do!

Happy Nourishing 🙂
